BJP Candidate Makes Unusual Statement: Claims Modi and Yogi Ended Unemployment Without Encouraging Childbirth

As the Lok Sabha elections approach, there’s a noticeable silence from BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, regarding key electoral issues like unemployment and price rise. Additionally, there’s criticism that the pro-government media isn’t posing tough questions to the BJP on these matters.

In the midst of this, a YouTuber stirred controversy by eliciting a peculiar response from a BJP candidate in Uttar Pradesh, leading to widespread trolling. BJP MP Dinesh Lal Yadav sparked controversy with remarks on unemployment during an interaction with the YouTuber.

Yadav’s statement, suggesting that senior BJP figures like Modi and Yogi Adityanath had resolved unemployment by not having children, quickly gained traction on social media, drawing widespread criticism for its insensitivity and perceived targeting of a specific community.

Reacting to the incident, netizens sarcastically questioned BJP’s stance on unemployment, implying that according to the party, if people hadn’t been born, they wouldn’t need jobs.

The video was initially shared by Congress leader BV Srinivas, causing embarrassment to the BJP. While some BJP leaders dismissed it as fake, journalist Muhammad Zubair of Alt News confirmed its authenticity, urging attention to real issues bypassed by mainstream media.

The incident unfolded amid the buildup to the Lok Sabha elections, scheduled in seven phases from April 19 to June 1. Dinesh Lal Yadav is contesting from Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh, with voting in Azamgarh slated for the sixth phase on May 25 and results expected on June 4.
