New Delhi: The Gujarat High Court on Friday reportedly dismissed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s review petition seeking suspension of sentence in the defamation case.
Rahul Gandhi has been sentenced to two years in jail in a defamation case.
Justice Hemant Prachak heard the petition in April and May and concluded the arguments on May 2.
Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi, who appeared for Rahul Gandhi, sought a stay of conviction in the criminal defamation case.
