The circulation of an explicit video involving MP Prajwal Revanna garnered national attention. Following this, another explicit video purportedly featuring a Congress MLA surfaced on social media, prompting a complaint from a young woman. Based in Ramanagara, the woman reported the matter to the local police station.
Expressing distress, she stated, “They have produced and disseminated an indecent video involving me and the MLA, causing ridicule by sharing it on Facebook.” She urged authorities to pursue legal action against those responsible for the video’s leak, citing defamation.
Meanwhile, District Youth Congress President Anil Jogendhar complained to the Ramanagara CEN police station against individuals sharing the video on social media.
Alleging that the footage was manipulated to tarnish the image of Congress MLAs, the complaint sought punitive measures against the perpetrators. Subsequently, based on these complaints, an FIR was filed at the Ramanagara CEN police station.
