Rahul Gandhi interviews Satya Pal Malik, asks him about Pulwama attack and Adani

Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday had shared a video of his recent meeting with former J&K governor, Satya Pal Malik over X. As Rahul Gandhi shared the interview, he wrote, “Will this conversation create a stir amid ED-CBI? The video focused on various issues including the unforgettable Pulwama attack, Manipur violence, the J&K situation, Adani and also revising the governor’s earliest days of politics. It is clearly visible that at first, Satya Pal Malik blamed the BJP government and its lapses for the 2019 Pulwama attack and the J&K situation. In the interview also, he reiterated on the same point and said: “I told two channels that it was our fault but I was asked to not say this anywhere…I thought my statements might impact the investigation, but there was no investigation. It was used for the purpose of election. On the third day, PM Modi gave his speech where he used it politically.”

“Why did the Pulwama incident happen? They had asked for 5 aircraft. Had he asked me, I would have given those right away. I provided aircraft to students stuck in the snow. It is easy to get aircraft on rent in Delhi. But their application was lying for four months in the home ministry. And then it was rejected. The CRPF personnel then took the road which was known to be unsafe,” the former governor said. He also questioned the source of investment of Rs 20,000 crores which Rahul Gandhi had pointed out earlier. The media also did not covered the questionable investment of Adani. He said that all the big godowns are owned by Adani and he has purchased the crops too and its prices which will rise in the future making it difficult for the common public to purchase.

Further, Rahul asked him about his opinion on the Manipur violence on which the former government said that it is a big failure of the current government where the chief minister of the state cannot do anything and at the same time he is also not being removed by the government. A lot more issues were discussed in the video and the complete video was released on YouTube on Rahul Gandhi’s personal YouTube channel.
