Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court today (Friday) dismissed the petition filed by Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren challenging the summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with the money laundering case.
To hear the application submitted by Hemant Soren, who is also the leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, questioning the ED summons. Supreme Court refused on September 18. Justices Aniruddha Bose and Bela M. approached the Jharkhand High Court for a solution in this matter. Trivedi’s bench had provided an opportunity.
On September 23, Hemant Soren filed an application in the High Court questioning the ED summons.
