Bangalore | KPTCL contract worker committed suicide by jumping from Nayandahalli flyover

On April 12, a tragic incident unfolded as a man, identified as Naveen (30), took his own life by leaping from the Nayandahalli flyover in Bangalore.

Naveen, a resident of Gnanabharati and a contract worker at Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL), met his untimely demise.

Around 8:20 AM, Naveen parked his bike on the flyover before abruptly jumping from its height. Reports indicate that Naveen had been married for only four months before the incident.

Batarayanpur traffic police, stationed nearby, promptly responded to the scene, and officers from Batarayanpur station conducted investigations. Naveen’s reasons for taking such drastic action remain unclear at this time. Further details are awaited.
