Eid Milad Rally in Mangalore to Be Held with Strict Discipline, Says Ullal Dargah President

Mangalore: The Eid Milad rally scheduled for Monday will be conducted in a highly disciplined manner, with clear instructions issued to all mosques under the Ullal Dargah, according to Hanif Haji, President of the Dargah.

Speaking at a press conference at the Ullal Press Club, Hanif Haji explained that, as in previous years, the Milad procession will proceed from Ullal Kotepur to the Ullal Dargah. Precautionary measures have been put in place to ensure the event remains peaceful.

The rally, known as Meelad Jatha, will be held on foot, with no bike processions allowed. Hanif Haji emphasized that participants must maintain discipline, with no tolerance for activities such as obscene dancing, provocative slogans, or flag-waving.

Notices outlining these guidelines have already been sent to all mosques under the Dargah’s authority to ensure compliance.
