Udupi: Four members of the same family died on the spot as a result of a horrific accident between a mini lorry and a two-wheeler.
The incident happened on Monday afternoon near Hosmaru Pajegudde on the Karkala-Dharamsthala-Subrahmanya highway.
Suresh Acharya (36), Samiksha (7), Sushmeeta (5) and Sushant (2) died. Meenakshi Acharya (32) was seriously injured and is undergoing treatment at a local hospital. The incident took place in Karkala Rural Police Station.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Karkala Rural Police Station. The family was traveling together on a bike when the fatal accident took place.
