Kangana Ranaut Agrees to CBFC’s Cuts for “Emergency,” Court Adjourns Hearing

Mumbai (PTI): Actor-producer Kangana Ranaut has agreed to implement the cuts suggested by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in her upcoming film Emergency, the Bombay High Court was informed on Monday.

The film, co-produced by Zee Entertainment Enterprises and directed by Ranaut, has faced delays due to certification issues.

The film, based on former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, has sparked controversy, with Sikh organizations accusing it of misrepresentation. The court adjourned the matter until October 3, awaiting final confirmation of the changes from Zee Entertainment.
