Goldi Brar gang responsible for killing Karni Sena chief; Call for Rajasthan Bandh

Regarding the gruesome shooting death of right-wing Rajput Karni Sena president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the gangster Goldi Brar gang has claimed responsibility for the murder.

Yesterday, four strangers who came to Sukhdev’s house on the pretext of a visit to Jaipur, Rajasthan, suddenly opened fire while they were talking. Besides, Sukhdev also opened fire on the bystanders and escaped. Sukhdev died on the spot while two others were seriously injured. He is currently hospitalized and undergoing treatment.

The CCTV video of Sukhdev’s murder has already been revealed and the Rajasthan Police is busy tracing the killers.

The leader of Gogamedi, who was identified in the right-wing organization, was at the forefront of many struggles. Gangster Lawrence also faced threats from the Bishnoi gang. Now the Goldi Brar gang has claimed responsibility for the murder.

Call for Rajasthan Bandh
After Gogamedi’s murder, protests broke out in different parts of Rajasthan, today the Karni Sena has called for a Rajasthan Bandh. Gogamedi supporters have blocked the road outside the hospital in Jaipur and protested for the immediate arrest of the accused. Protests also broke out in Churu, Udaipur, Alwar, and Jodhpur districts.

The hideouts of the accused will be raided and arrested soon. No one should indulge in unpleasant incidents. Rajasthan Police Chief Umesh Mishra appealed to everyone to maintain peace.

After the defeat of the Congress in the Rajasthan assembly elections, the killing of the Karni Sena president has also led to a war of words between the BJP and the Congress.

BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala shared a video on X that Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi had spoken about earlier, in which former CM Ashok Gehlot claimed that his security had been cut.

All prominent political leaders including former CM Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot and RJD’s Rajyavardhan Rathore have condemned the killing.

Reacting to this, Congress leader Supriya Sreenat said, ‘Rajasthan has returned to Jungle Raj as soon as BJP came to power’.
