Congress leader Sachin Pilot expressed confidence that our party will get another chance in the state and said that time the people’s will is to change the trend of alternate governments.

Speaking to reporters, he said, ‘I am confident that Congress will get another chance in the state. We will get the numerical strength required to form the government. It is believed that the people of the state will vote for those who keep their commitment.

There is no difference between me and Ashok Gehlot. We worked together for the party. I am not saying that it is possible with two or three people. Instead, Sachin Pilot said that the entire Rajasthan Congress unit worked together.

Voting has already started in 199 of the 200 assembly constituencies of Rajasthan today after a furious campaign by major political parties including the ruling Congress and the BJP, and the voting will continue till 6 pm.

Polling for the Karanapur constituency has been postponed due to the death of Congress candidate Gurmeet Singh.

In the 2018 assembly elections, the Congress had won 99 seats, while the BJP had won 73 seats. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot formed the government with the support of BSP and non-party MLAs.
