Rajasthan: Right-wing Rajput Karni Sena president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi shot dead

It is reported that a group of miscreants shot and killed the president of the right-wing Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena after the election results in Rajasthan.

Rajput Karni Sena president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was shot dead by a group of unidentified assailants who barged into his house in Jaipur early today, Rajasthan Police said.

“The incident took place early Tuesday morning at his house in Shyam Nagar area. According to initial reports, the four barged into Sukhdev’s house and shot at him. Sukhdev’s security guard and another were injured in the firing,” Rajasthan Director General of Police (DGP) Umesh Mishra told PTI.

Jaipur Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said that Gogamedi was immediately admitted to a private hospital where doctors declared him dead.

The scene of the two miscreants shooting was captured on the CCTV at Sukhdev Singh’s house and is horrifying.

Enraged by the incident, the members of the Rajput Karni Sena and the supporters of Sukhdev Singh are protesting in different parts of Rajasthan and have demanded that the accused be found and arrested immediately.
