A Muslim Uber Driver Syed Lateef Uddin from Chandrayangutta who was at Shaikpet got a request to pick a passenger from Alkapur X Road under Narsinghi Police Station was stopped and asked to chant “Jai Sri Ram” by some anti-social elements, When he refused to say he was attacked and some how he managed to speed up his car, he was chased by six persons in three vehicles and stopped and attacked by big boulders in which his entire vehicle was damaged.
From 3:45 AM he kept calling on 100 but there was no response and the Narsinghi Police arrived at around 5:00 AM.
