94,000 UP Govt Employees, Officers Linked to Mission Karmayogi; Here’s the Full Plan

Mission Karmayogi, launched by PM Modi, aims to enhance civil servants’ efficiency, transparency, and accountability to tackle India’s social and economic challenges. Uttar Pradesh is actively participating in this program, encouraging maximum government employees to join.

Under CM Yogi’s leadership, over 94,000 government employees and officers have registered on the Integrated Government Online Training (iGOT) portal. More than 45,000 have enrolled in courses, with around 29,000 completing them, including 6,000 officers.

The Union Cabinet, chaired by PM Modi, approved Mission Karmayogi on September 2, 2020.

*UP’s Participation*
In a presentation before Chief Secretary, Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management (UPAAM) shared UP’s participation in Mission Karmayogi. UPAAM’s DG Venkateshwar Lu and Additional Director Sunil Kumar Chaudhary made the presentation.

Additional Director Sunil Kumar Chaudhary stated that 43 departmental nodal officers have been nominated on the iGOT portal. Over 94,000 officials are onboard or registered, with 45,000+ course enrollments and 28,881 completions, including 5,921 officials.

*Workshops and Training*
The Yogi government organized workshops through the “Employee to Karmayogi” campaign in all government departments. Training was provided in 14 training institutions and field visits were conducted in 10 districts. Eight departments have already hosted workshops.

*UPAAM’s Role*
UPAAM is actively involved in implementing Mission Karmayogi in UP. UPAAM will:

– Nominate nodal officers and Master Development Officers (MDOs) for each department
– Onboard nodal officers and MDOs on the iGOT portal
– Ensure departmental nodal officers onboard all employees
– Conduct monthly meetings for uploading course materials and monitor progress

Mission Karmayogi focuses on enhancing civil servants’ efficiency, transparency, and accountability to tackle India’s social and economic challenges. The mission provides continuous education and training for personal and professional development.
Through Mission Karmayogi, the government trains employees in new technologies, leadership skills, and administrative reforms, enabling them to work more efficiently. The program includes training and development for officers at various levels.

The iGOT Karmayogi portal offers courses to enhance government employees’ skills and expertise.
