UP: State government makes changes in recruitment process, Group C posts in Transport Corporation to be filled through Commission

The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has approved the proposal to fill Group C posts in the Transport Corporation through the Subordinate Services Selection Commission. Earlier, the recruitment process for these posts was handled by the Transport Corporation itself.

According to sources, the qualification for technical posts will be increased from ITI to BTech. For management-related posts, the minimum qualification will be set at graduation level. Along with educational qualifications, the age limit and post names will also be changed.

The Cabinet has approved the proposal to issue a government order for this amendment. Land allocated for bus depot and workshop in Chandauli

The Transport Department has got land to build a bus depot, office, and workshop in Chandauli district. About four acres of land belonging to the Agriculture Department will be transferred to the Transport Department free of cost. The proposal was approved by the Cabinet through circulation on Monday.

20,000-liter dairy plant to be set up in Banda

The Cabinet has approved the setting up of a 20,000-liter per day dairy plant in Banda. The plant will be set up by the Provincial Cooperative Dairy Federation (PCDF). The capacity of the existing 10,000-liter per day plant in Jhansi will also be increased to 30,000 liters per day.

Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Minister Dharampal Singh said that currently, only 14% of milk is processed in UP. The new plant will increase milk processing and help double farmers’ income.

More members to be added to Cow Service Commission

To promote cow service in the state, the Cow Service Commission will have one vice-chairman and one non-government member. The Cabinet has approved the proposal to create new posts for this purpose. Currently, the commission has one chairman, one vice-chairman, and two members.

New service rules for X-ray technicians

New service rules will be framed for X-ray technicians working in various medical colleges in the state. They will be given the same salary and benefits as medical institutions. The proposal for the Uttar Pradesh X-ray Technician Service (First Amendment) Rules, 2024, was approved by the Cabinet through circulation on Monday.”
