No ceasefire without release of hostages: Benjamin Netanyahu

Tel Aviv: There is no question of a ceasefire with Hamas rebels in Gaza without releasing hostages, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said.

By that, Magadomme rejected the ceasefire resolution proposal.

‘Want to put an end to all rumors. I clearly reiterate that there will be no ceasefire without the release of the hostages in Gaza’, he said.

Israel was reportedly considering a short pause in the war on humanitarian grounds, including the release of some hostages. But the Israeli Prime Minister has rejected such mediation talks.

More than 1,400 people were killed and 239 were held hostage on the October 7 attack by Hamas rebels, Israeli officials said.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health said that 10,569 civilians have died in Gaza so far in the attack carried out by Israel.
