Qatar, turkey denounce the act of burning a copy of the holy Quran, by a far-right Swedish protestor in front of the Turkish Embassy in Sweden.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry said “We condemn in the strongest possible terms the vile attack on our holy book … Permitting this anti-Islam act, which targets Muslims and insults our sacred values, under the guise of freedom of expression is completely unacceptable,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry said.
Qatar also denounced Sweden for granting permission to burn the Quran.
Qatar in a statement said, “it is an act of incitement and serious provocation to the feelings of more than two billion Muslims around the world”
