Andhra Pradesh High Court granted interim bail to Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Chandrababu Naidu.
The court accepted Naidu’s bail plea on health grounds. He was allowed to be released for a period of four weeks.
Chandrababu Naidu was arrested in connection with the case of embezzlement in the skill development department. He was in Andhra Pradesh’s Rajahmundry Jail for the past 52 days.
Earlier, the High Court had rejected several bail applications filed by TDP chiefs. Now, he has been granted interim bail pending medical treatment due to his illness.
