Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is yet to knock the theatres on December 1, 2023 in different languages, mainly- Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. The film is reported to clash with Vicky Kaushal-starrer Sam Bahadur. Yet Ranbir starrer Animal has already sold over a lakh tickets for its opening day in multiplexes. These reports are as per the Animal advance booking update shared by Taran Adarsh, a trade analyst.
Apart from this report, Sacnilk.com has also made a report where it has claimed that the movie has already earned ₹6 crore through the procedure of advance ticket sales across all the theatres and languages in India. Taran Adarsh wrote on platform X (formerly known as Twitter) on Monday: “Exclusive: Animal advance booking status at national chains… Note: [Friday] day 1 tickets sold…PVR-Inox: 81,000. Cinepolis: 19,000. Total: 1,00,000 tickets sold.”
It is as per Sacnilk.com that the hindi version of the movie is belived to collect Rs 5.87 crore in advance ticket sales for its first day of release, which amounts to the sale of 1.76 lakh tickets for 5570 shows across the country. On the other hand, the Telugu version of Animal has contributed to the business of ₹54.29 lakh and thereby sold 33.4K tickets for 446 shows for the first day. While, Animal in Tamil has collected ₹32.7K for day 1 for a number of 20 shows, taking the total summation of Animal’s advance collection of box office for the single opening day of release to ₹6.42 crore with 20.9 lakh tickets been sold.
