Nejaru Murder Trial Scheduled to Commence at Udupi District and Sessions Court

Udupi Court Orders Production of Prime Suspect in Nejaru Murder Case.

The Udupi District and Sessions Court has instructed Parappana Agrahara jail authorities to present Praveen Chowgule, the primary suspect in the Nejaru family murders, for the upcoming hearing on March 7.

Chowgule’s arrest swiftly followed the tragic events of November 12, with him being in judicial custody at Bengaluru’s Parappana Agrahara jail since then.

In February, authorities filed a comprehensive charge sheet shedding light on the motive behind Chowgule’s alleged actions, revealing his turbulent relationship with Aynaz Mohammed, a former colleague and trainee air hostess.

Police investigations indicate Chowgule’s possessive tendencies and discord in his relationship with Aynaz Mohammed as the motive behind the heinous attack, which claimed the lives of Aynaz’s mother, elder sister, and younger brother.

The assault reportedly occurred while all victims were present in the house, with Haseena’s mother-in-law narrowly escaping harm by hiding in a bathroom.
