Two individuals have been arrested in Bangalore following the murder of a woman over foreign currency

The police of Seshadripuram police station in Bengaluru have succeeded in arresting two accused in connection with the suspicious death of a foreign woman.

Zarina is a dead woman. She is originally from Uzbekistan. She died in a private star hotel room near BDA bridge.

The two accused, who were working as housekeepers in the hotel, killed the woman by suffocating her with a pillow when she went to room service for the foreign money and mobile phone that the woman had.

Later, they stole the money and mobile from her and fled. The police have registered a case in this regard and have formed a special team and arrested the accused.

It is known that these two accused are from Assam. Police seized ₹13,000 in cash, two Uzbekistani notes of ₹2,000 denomination, and one ₹5,000 note from the arrested accused.

What is the case?
Zarina, a foreign woman, had come to Bangalore on a tourist visa from Uzbekistan four days ago. She has been staying at the Jagadish Hotel near Seshadripuram for the past six days. On the evening of March 13, the woman did not open the door no matter how much the hotel staff shouted. Thus, at midnight on March 13, when the hotel staff opened the door of the room using the master key, the dead body of the woman was found.

A dead body of a woman was found. Seshadripuram police, FSL team, and dog squad visited the spot and checked. Central Division DCP Shekhar Tekkannavar visited the place and inspected it. The police also checked the hotel’s CCTV and other documents.

The body was sent to Bowring Hospital for post-mortem examination. Later, a case of suspicious death was registered and an investigation was started.
