Terrifying Mid-Air Turbulence: Indigo Flight Plunges Three Times, Leaves Passengers Shaken

A harrowing experience awaited passengers on board Indigo flight 6E 6165 from Amritsar to Lucknow on Monday. The plane encountered severe air turbulence, dropping sharply three times, leaving passengers terrified.

The flight took off from Amritsar at 12:19 pm and was scheduled to land at Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport at 1:55 pm. Suddenly, the plane plummeted from a great height, only to be pulled back up, repeating this terrifying cycle three times.

Retired railway official Brajesh Kumar Shrivastava, who was traveling with his wife Sadhana, recounted, “People screamed, women wept uncontrollably. Luggage compartments opened, and belongings scattered. Several passengers fell ill.”

Despite the chaos, the pilot managed to land the plane safely. However, passengers were dismayed when airline officials failed to inquire about their well-being post-landing.

Aviation experts explain that air turbulence creates whirlpool-like conditions, potentially leading to catastrophic consequences if a plane becomes trapped.

Passengers’ relief upon landing quickly turned to frustration as airline staff seemed indifferent to their ordeal.

‘The unexpected drops were heart-stopping,’ said a passenger, ‘We’re grateful to have made it alive, but the airline’s apathy is disturbing.'”
