National Conference (NC) Chief Farooq Abdullah announced on Tuesday that Omar Abdullah will be the next Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir.
The announcement came after it was confirmed that the NC, along with its allies, had secured a majority in the assembly elections. Speaking to reporters, Farooq Abdullah expressed confidence in his son’s leadership, officially confirming Omar’s appointment as the new CM of J&K.
