Amid the rising tensions regarding the hijab row in Karnataka, and several leaders around the globe showing solidarity with the Muslim students, Manchester United star Paul Pogba has also posted a story in support of protesting girls on his Instagram handle.
Sharing a video from Karnataka’s Sagar on social media, Pogba on Thursday highlighted the plight of Muslim girls who are facing discrimination and harassment for wearing hijab. The caption of the video read, “Hindutva mobs continue to harass Muslim girls wearing Hijab to college in India.”
Paul Labile Pogba is a French professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Manchester United and the France national team.
