London: The Covid pandemic has continued to infect several sports persons as at least seven cricket players including staff of England have been tested Covid positive on Tuesday.
Confirming this, the England Wales Cricket Board said that after Covid test, seven members including three players and four management team members have been tested Covid positive.
Following it, the players and staff have been sent for self isolation. Other players and staff who have come in contact also been sent for self isolation.
Meanwhile the names of positive persons names have not been revealed, but the Board has decided not to make any changes in the matches scheduled between England and Pakistan in T20 ODI.
Amid this, Ben Stokes has been appointed as new captain to lead his team in the coming series against Pakistan.
