Amit Shah at Bengaluru rally says NDA will take away all 28 seats in Karnataka

Karnataka is going to witness its first phase of polling for the Lok Sabha elections on April 26. Amidst the preparation, Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a roadshow in Bengaluru South Parliamentary constituency on Tuesday for the sitting BJP MP and candidate Tejasvi Surya.

The election rally witnessed huge participatory scale from a number of citizens starting on late Tuesday evening in Bommanahalli. The Union Home Minister addressed the gathering by appealing to the people to ensure the victory of Tejasvi Surya from the Bengaluru South seat. He asked the citizens to make him win with a margin of more than five lakh votes. As no election rally goes without the blame game, in the same manner, Amit Shah hit out at the Congress government for its failure in governance in Karnataka. Shah highlighted various issues of law and order, and corruption in the state and how did the state fail to address the issues of water crisis and drought situation.

Amit Shah also expressed his confidence about the NDA winning all 28 Lok Sabha constituencies in Karnataka. He also lauded the transformative impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in the country. While on the other hand, the sitting BJP MP candidate, Tejasvi Surya expressed his gratitude towards the Union Home Minister for his immense support. He said, “After the DJ Halli and KG Halli riots a couple of years ago, I met Amit Shah Ji and requested the establishment of an NIA office in Bengaluru. The NIA office has significantly bolstered our counter-terrorism efforts. The investigation into the Rameshwaram Cafe blast case is being spearheaded by them.”
