Lok Sabha Elections 2024: BJP Campaign to reach out to minorities

New Delhi: With the upcoming elections in mind, the BJP is talking about Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led plans to reach out to Muslim women across the country.

Assembly elections will be held in many states at the end of this year and Lok Sabha elections in 2024. In this background, the BJP, which has already started preparations, has devised a strategy to reach out to the minorities through Sufis, philosophers and spiritual leaders. This is why the party has formed a team of workers trained in religious issues.

“BJP Minority Morcha is preparing to reach out to 200 Muslim women in every district across the country to inform them about abolition of triple talaq, women-friendly schemes like Swacch Bharat, Ujwala and ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’ scheme. Not only that, we reach 150 to 200 Muslim women in each district. We will also seek their suggestions on what else the party can do for them’, said Jamal Siddiqui of the party.

‘What is the point of development if we don’t have strong religious ties? BJP’s mission is that religion is the foundation of a strong country. In this regard, we are reaching out to intellectuals, non-political persons, farmers etc,” he said.
