Robert Vadra Criticizes Kangana Ranaut’s Remarks on Farmers’ Protests, Says She Doesn’t Deserve to Be in Parliament

Hyderabad (PTI): Robert Vadra, husband of Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, has sharply criticized BJP MP Kangana Ranaut for her controversial comments on the farmers’ protests. Speaking to reporters on Friday, Vadra expressed his belief that Ranaut, who represents Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, does not deserve a place in Parliament.

“I respect her as a woman, but I feel she is not educated and only thinks about herself, not the people. She should focus more on women’s issues,” Vadra stated. He urged the nation to unite on the crucial issue of women’s safety, calling for all political parties to address it collectively.

Ranaut recently stirred controversy by suggesting in an interview that a “Bangladesh-like situation” could have emerged during the farmers’ protests if not for strong leadership, alleging incidents of bodies hanging and rapes taking place during the agitation. She also accused China and the United States of involvement in a “conspiracy,” which sparked backlash from opposition parties.

Robert Vadra was in Hyderabad on Friday to visit places of worship and engage with various community members, including differently-abled children.
