Another complaint has been filed against BJP leader KS Eshwarappa, who had made a controversial statement that the law should be implemented to kill people like DK Suresh and Vinay Kulkarni, who make statements that will divide the country.
An FIR was registered against Eshwarappa at Barangay police station in Davangere on Friday. Another complaint has been registered at the Yashwantpur police station in Bengaluru. RR Nagar Youth Congress President Shashank and Sanjay filed a complaint.
The complainant has demanded that a case be registered under the Prevention of Terrorism Act against Eshwarappa, who had made a provocative statement to kill him.
Congress has also protested against Eshwarappa and tried to lay siege to his house in Bangalore.
“An FIR has been registered against Eshwarappa who had stated that he wanted to be shot dead. We will take legal action against them,” Home Minister G Parameshwar said.
