Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is of the opinion that the next Lok Sabha elections will be held ahead of schedule and that it will be held within six months

With the central government having a majority, Lok Sabha elections can certainly be held early. Nitish Kumar said that Modi will follow this strategy to prevent opposition parties from coming together.

Inaugurating 5,061 projects worth ₹6,680.67 crore of the Rural Development Department through video conference, he said, “The BJP may feel that the unity of the opposition parties may have a bad effect on them in the coming days, so it may hold the Lok Sabha elections in a few days.”

I was told in the review meeting of the department that all the projects will be completed by January 2024. I request you all to complete all the projects as soon as possible. No one knows when the Lok Sabha elections will be held. It cannot be said that it will be held in April-May next year. Nitish Kumar said that it is possible to conduct them ahead of schedule this year itself.

Nitish Kumar, who was part of the NDA alliance, ended the alliance last year and joined the Mahaghatabandhan alliance in Bihar to become the CM. As part of efforts to unite all parties to defeat BJP in 2024 elections, an important meeting of the leaders of each party has been called in Patna on June 23.

“All opposition parties should unite to defeat the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. We should start preparations after the June 23 meeting,” he said.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav had also opined that the Lok Sabha elections may be held before the term. Everything is in the hands of the central government and they can do whatever they want, he said.
