Burning Alive Of Belthangadi Trio Tragedy: Mangalore Muslim Youth Council Condemns Horrific Incident

Mangalore Muslim Youth Council (R) Bangalore has vehemently condemned the heinous act of burning three individuals alive inside a car near Kuchchangi Lake, under the jurisdiction of Kora police station in Tumkur district. This appalling incident has sent shockwaves through both society and the government, prompting calls for special attention to this case.

In a press release issued by the Mangalore Muslim Youth Council (R) Bangalore, the incident, which occurred on March 22nd near Kuchchangi Lake, is described as barbaric. Three innocent individuals—Shahul Hameed (45 years old) from Ujira in Belthangadi taluk of Dakshina Kannada district, Isak (54 years old) from Maddadka, and Siddique (34 years old) from Shirlalu—lost their lives in this tragic event, leaving the entire community in shock.

The release states that on March 22nd, a burnt car was discovered at Kuchchangi Lake in Tumkur district, containing two charred bodies and one in the passenger seat. Following an investigation, the police arrested the main suspects, Pataraju alias Raju from Sheera Gate, Tumkur, and Gangaraju bin Hanumantarayappa from Satyamangala, along with six others. The motive behind the crime was revealed to be a financial dispute, with the victims allegedly defrauded of significant sums of money.

The press release demands that the government treat this case as a special one, emphasizing the need for thorough investigation and justice. It calls for the involvement of high-level investigative agencies like the CBI and urges the government to provide adequate compensation to the families of the deceased.

Additionally, it highlights the broader issue of online fraud networks operating in parts of Tumkur and calls for comprehensive measures to address this menace, including the formation of a special investigation team and heightened awareness efforts.
