Chikmagalur: Students of Dalit and other backward communities staged a blue shawl protest to support Hijab wearing Girls at IDSC College, Chikmagalur. Students demanded to allow the Hijab wearing girls to attend the classes.
Students entered the IDSC College with Jai Bheem Slogan and condemned the efforts of the right-wing organization to communalize the issue. Dalit and Backward Community standing up for Hijab has pushed back Right-wing forces to Backfoot. (Developing Story)
