To combat the severe air pollution that plagues Delhi, the city government has implemented a comprehensive ban on all types of firecrackers effective immediately and lasting until January 1, 2025.
The prohibition encompasses the manufacturing, storage, distribution, and sale of firecrackers, including online platforms.
As stated in a notice issued by the Delhi Pollution Control Board, “The Delhi Government has decided to completely ban the manufacture, storage, and sale of all types of firecrackers (including distribution through online marketing platforms) till January 1, 2025.”
