Fact-Finding Report Reveals Conspiracy Behind Jainoor Violence: BJP, RSS Allegedly Inciting Communal Tensions

A fact-finding team has revealed alarming details about the violence that erupted in Jainoor, Komuram Bheem Asifabad district, Telangana, on 4th September 2024. The report accuses the BJP, RSS, and their affiliates of orchestrating a well-planned conspiracy to instigate communal violence between Adivasi and Muslim communities, taking advantage of existing tensions for political gain.

The violence, which saw the burning of 11 houses, 95 shops, 4 mosques, and 42 vehicles belonging to the Muslim community, followed an alleged rape and attempted murder of a tribal woman by a Muslim man on 31st August 2024.

The incident was exploited to further fuel hatred against the Muslim community, with BJP and RSS leaders reportedly mobilizing around 5,000 people from tribal and backward communities for the attack.

Despite multiple warnings from local leaders about threats to Muslims, the police allegedly failed to take preventive action. The report highlights the involvement of the local DSP, who, according to witnesses, openly threatened Muslims and allowed the violence to escalate. The fact-finding team has demanded the immediate removal of the DSP and other police officials involved.

The report also criticizes the Telangana state government for its inaction, stating that no serious attempts have been made to investigate or arrest the perpetrators, despite the passage of nearly 20 days. It warns that the communal tension could worsen if not addressed, with BJP and RSS continuing their campaign of misinformation and communal enmity.

The fact-finding team, which included prominent social activists and civil rights advocates, has called for urgent action from the Congress government to counter the rising Hindutva agenda in the region and restore peace and harmony between the communities.
