Avni Lakhera clinched gold medal in the Para Olympics finals in the Women’s 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 event.
Lakhera successfully defended her Tokyo title, while Mona Agarwal secured bronze medal in 10m air rifle event. With one gold and another bronze the Indian para contingent have two medals on the second day of the Paris Paralympics, with more expected later on Friday.
With the gold medal, Lekhara became the first Indian woman to clinch two Paralympic gold medals.
