The description of the trailer of the upcoming movie called “The Kerala Story” has been changed from “Heartbreaking and gut-wrenching stories of 32000 females in Kerala! Coming Soon!” to “True story of 3 young girls from different parts of Kerala.”
Last week, a new trailer for the movie was released, stating that it is a collection of true stories of three young girls. This is a significant change from the teaser uploaded on YouTube in November, which claimed that the film was about the heartbreaking and gut-wrenching stories of 32,000 females in Kerala.
Several social media users, including Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, pointed out the notable difference in the number of women who were allegedly converted into Islamic terrorists. Earlier, Alt News had reported that there was no evidence to support the claim that 32,000 women from Kerala had joined the Islamic State.
