Producer of “The Kerala Story” Agrees to Remove Controversial Teaser Claiming 32,000 Women Recruited to ISIS from Social Media, Court Records Statement

In a recent development in the controversy surrounding the upcoming movie “The Kerala Story”, the producer of the film, Vipul Amrutlal Shah has informed the Kerala High Court that the controversial teaser claiming that over 32,000 women from Kerala were recruited to ISIS will be removed from their social media accounts. The court has recorded the statement of the producer.

During the hearing, Justice Nagaresh had questioned the producer, “But let me ask you, how can you say there were 32,000 girls?” To this, Kadam, replied, “That was on the basis of an information we received. That was in the teaser. That will not be continued. Please record my submission. We will remove it from social media.”

The controversy began when the teaser of the movie was released, claiming that over 32,000 women from Kerala were radical recruited to the terrorist organization ISIS. The teaser had sparked widespread outrage and criticism from various quarters.
