Ayodhya Ramlila Breaks Records: 41 Crore People Watch Online, Telecast in 40 Countries
The Ramlila of Ayodhya has set a new record with 41 crore people watching online in just three days. Film actors bring the story of Lord Rama to life at Shri Ram Preksha Griha, attracting Ram devotees globally.
Subhash Malik, President of Film Ramlila Committee, said, “Filmi Ramlila started in Ayodhya in 2020. This year, we’ve broken last year’s record. We expect the number to cross 50 crore.”
The Ramlila is telecast live on Doordarshan, YouTube, and other platforms, with:
- 22 crore viewers on Doordarshan
- 17 crore on YouTube
- 2 crore on other platforms
It’s being telecast in 40 countries in 26 languages, including the USA, Australia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka. In India, it’s being telecast in Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, and other languages.

- Actors: Bindu Dara Singh, Manish Pal, Avtar Gill, Raza Murad, Rakesh Bedi, and Vinay Singh

The live telecast airs from 7 pm to 10 pm on around 5,000 YouTube channels and 70 satellite channels worldwide.
