Hyderabad: Actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya has responded strongly to baseless claims by Telangana Congress leader Konda Surekha, who suggested that IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) was responsible for his divorce from actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
In a tweet, Naga Chaitanya expressed disappointment, stating, “The decision of divorce is one of the most painful and unfortunate life decisions. It was a mutual decision made in peace, with respect and dignity. The claim made by Minister Konda Surekha is false, ridiculous, and unacceptable.”
He urged for respect towards personal life decisions and condemned the exploitation of celebrities’ matters for media headlines, calling it “shameful.”
Chaitanya emphasized the importance of supporting women and maintaining dignity in the face of public scrutiny.
