New Delhi: The Income Tax department conducted searches on Saturday against AAP MLA Gulab Singh Yadav and several others in Delhi as part of a tax evasion investigation, according to official sources.
Yadav, aged 45, serves as a two-time legislator and represents the Matiala seat in the Delhi Assembly. The raids targeted premises associated with the AAP MLA in Delhi’s Ghummanheda village and other locations as part of the ongoing tax evasion probe. The tax officials were accompanied by the Delhi Police during the operation, the sources stated.
During the searches, authorities recovered some documents, and several individuals were questioned in connection with the investigation
