B.M. Mumtaz Ali, a prominent businessman, social and religious leader, and brother of former MLA Mohiuddin Bava, has been reported missing in Panambur, Karnataka. His car was discovered abandoned on the Kuloor bridge, with visible damage suggesting a possible accident.

Rescue teams from the NDRF and SDRF have been deployed to search the Kuloor River, where Mr. Ali is believed to have gone missing. According to Mangaluru City Police Commissioner Anupam Agrawal, Mr. Ali left his house around 3 AM and was last seen at various locations in the city.
