BJP MP and Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, facing allegations of sexual harassment from some wrestlers, has expressed his willingness to undergo a narco test. However, he has attached a condition, stating that wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia should also undergo the same test.
It is important to note that statements made during a narco analysis test are generally not admissible in court, except under specific circumstances where the court deems it necessary based on the facts and nature of the case.
The ongoing protest by wrestlers, which has now reached its one-month mark, is a reflection of their dissatisfaction with the handling of the case and the lack of action taken so far.
