Special coin of Rs. 75 released to commemorate the inauguration of the New Parliament House

New Delhi: The Ministry of Finance has announced that it will release a special coin of Rs. 75 to commemorate the inauguration of the new Parliament House.

One side of the coin bears the lion emblem of the Ashok Pillar, with ‘Satya Meva Jayate’ written in English on the right.

On the other side, there is a picture of the Parliament Complex; ‘Samsad Sankul’ is written in Devanagari script at the top, and ‘Parliament Complex’ is written in English at the bottom.

The circular coin will have a diameter of 44 minutes. It will weigh 35 grammes. This coin is made using 50% silver, 40% copper, 5% white metal, and 5% zinc.

The inauguration ceremony of the new Parliament House will be held on Sunday, May 28, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate it.
