Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Poghat have decided to withdraw their ongoing protest and have resumed their railway job

After a long standing protest in a recent development olympic medallist Sakshi Malik, along with fellow wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia, has decided to withdraw from the ongoing protest against BJP MP Brijbhushan Sharan Singh who is also the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief. According to media reports, all three wrestlers, who are employed with the Indian Railways, have resumed their duties.

Sakshi Malik, Vinesh Phogat, and Bajrang Punia were among the prominent wrestlers who had actively participated in the protest against Brijbhushan Sharan Singh, accusing him of alleged sexual harassment of wrestlers. However, recent reports suggest that the trio has now decided to step back from the protest and rejoin their respective railway jobs.

The exact reasons behind their change of stance have not been disclosed by the wrestlers or their representatives.
