Another Shiv Sena UBT MLA joins Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde faction

Mumbai: Maharashtra MLA and Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena member Manisha Kayande has joined sides with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Two prominent leaders leaving the party within two days has been a heavy blow to the Uddhav faction. Yesterday, senior leader Shishir Shinde resigned from Shiv Sena led by Uddhav Thackeray.

Manisha Kayande was the secretary and spokesperson of Shiv Sena. They said that it is clear that the Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde is the real Shiv Sena. She also assessed that the Shinde government has been working efficiently since coming to power last June.

Manisha criticized Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and party leader Sushma Andhare by naming them and saying that it is the agenda of NCP and Congresswoman. They alleged that the real Shiv Sena is not a party that includes leaders who insult Hindu deities, criticize others every day and impose the ideology of Congress and NCP. After Manisha Shinde came to the camp, the Thackeray faction dropped her from the post of spokesperson. Manisha joined Shiv Sena in 2012.
